Ultimate Foundation Limited engaged our services to support their Office Manager by offloading administrative and financial tasks, allowing her to focus on project management within their foundation company workflow.
While the initial requirement was for bookkeeping support, we identified early on that a Civil Engineer would be a better fit based on Team A’s company structure and operational needs. A Civil Engineer’s strong attention to detail and numerical capability made bookkeeping and back-costing a natural extension of the role.
With a solid understanding of bills, take-offs, and estimates specific to foundation construction, this support also expanded into job pricing. With structured training and support provided by FAJ and Dan, the role evolved quickly from bookkeeping assistance into a Quantity Surveying function within a span of two months.
Evolution Performance
Evolution Performance engaged our services following an initial collaboration, where we enrolled several of our staff into courses he delivered. Through this working relationship, a need emerged for additional business support.

Concrete Obsession is a concreting company that engaged our services to find a admin and a bookkeeper capable of handling back-costing specific to a foundation construction environment. Similar to Ultimate, we identified that a Civil Engineer would be a better fit for this role due to the technical and cost-driven nature of the work.
A Civil Engineer’s strong numerical skills and understanding of take-offs, estimates, and construction workflows allowed for accurate bookkeeping and effective back-costing. This ensured clearer cost visibility, improved financial tracking, and better alignment between operational and financial data.
Steadfast Foundations
STF is also a foundations company that required bookkeeping and admin support with a focus on back-costing and cost control within a construction-based business. Based on their operational requirements, we sourced a Civil Engineer to support this function rather than a traditional bookkeeper.
With a solid understanding of construction costs, billing structures, and estimates, the Civil Engineer provided accurate financial tracking and supported back-costing processes. This approach enabled STF to gain better insight into project costs and improve overall financial oversight.
